Abilene Preservation League is a 501(c)3 organization where members, volunteers and staff work hand-in-hand to save many Abilene buildings, mansions, residential structures and more. The historical fabric of Abilene, both physical and cultural, continues to thrive through the vision and efforts of APL.
There are many ways to support the APL. Become a member, rent The Elks (Contributor level and higher receive a 10% discount), or volunteer in a way that suits your time, interests and skill sets. APL members also receive invites to special events, openings and parties.
Whether you’re a local member or someone who loves Abilene from afar, your APL membership will continue to help preserve and revitalize the architectural and cultural heritage of Abilene.
Joining the Abilene Preservation League is the best way to support our work. Membership in the APL represents appreciation and meaningful support for the Big Country’s rich architectural and cultural heritage.
Funding has been provided to the Abilene Preservation League from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) as part of the 2021 Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act of 2021.
