Trolley tour of Abilene's famous ghosts: Family Fun, games and prizes. Saturday, October 25th 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. beginning at the Swenson House, 1726 Swenson Ave.

We're sold out on the trolley tours... but you can still come have fun Friday and Saturday at the Swenson and get a bite to eat!

Tour the house for $10 per person, buy your ticket at the Swenson House front sidewalk of the Swenson House, between 7 and 9:30, 1726 Swenson St. (One block west of Grape at North 18th). Hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks available for purchase.

Halloween is creeping closer, and parents looking for a spooky, family friendly event should consider the Abilene Preservation League's Haunted Trolley Tour.
After last year's sell out, the APL's popular event is back with even more spine tingling activities and it has been expanded to two days!

The fun starts at dark at the historic Swenson House, which will be decorated as a haunted house. New this year - you can look in the spooky basement and the haunted Garage. There will also be Dracula, witches, yummy concoctions brewing and more. Hamburgers, fries, hot dogs and drinks will be available both evenings, so make a night of it!

The trolley ghost tour will leave the Swenson House every 45 minutes cruising the streets of Abilene as tales of history and spirits unfold.

Admission to house without Trolley tour is $10.

You may purchase the house tour tickets Friday or Saturday night at the Swenson House, or by coming to the APL offices, 1174 North First St at Cedar from 9 to 5 through Friday, October 23.

This event helps raise funds for the APL to continue its mission of education and preservation of Abilene's historic buildings, including the Swenson House, which was built in 1910 by Abilene businessman W.G. Swenson and celebrates its 100th birthday next year.
